How I be?

I'm Back... With A Vengeance

France rocked my world but I can't say I'm not glad to be back. I just wish I could adapt to these damn American keyboards.

I saw Finding Nemo last night with Colin and JP. It was super cute. Here is what I like: Pixar.

Here is what I do not like: Sex in the City. I watched 2 episodes of the show on the airplane on the way back from France. What a stupid show. It pretends to promote the independence of women through sexual liberation but really it perpetuates the idea that women's lives are dominated by thoughts of relationships, sex, and clothing. I am not impressed. If I see anymore tv shows about "professional women" who deal more with their mini skirts then substantial issues I am gonna vomit. As if Ally McBeal (was that her name) wasn't bad enough. Me... vomiting... all over the planet... blechhhhhhh

The three best TV shows ever:

1. Iron Chef

2. Simpsons

3. Kids in the Hall

Honorable Mention: Crocodile Hunter.

So I'm beginning to get ready to apply to law schools. This also makes me want to vomit for totally different reasons then Sex in the City. Nothing like putting yourself up against your over achieving peers to make you want to slit your wrists. There's always some kid who has better grades, was president of every organization, and started a hospice out of her basement.

But that's okay. I've only been working all these years to make myself marketable. I could take this as a opportunity to remember and embrace the intrinsic value of my education. Or I could stress out and spend way too much money on a prep class for the LSAT. The former is highly unlikely and the latter is inevitable.

So now... for those of you dedicated enough to read the entire entry... you ask yourself "will she keep updating?". My answer: I intend to. I sit at a desk all day with this silly computer in front of me and my only responsibility is to deal with whinny students and their full of shit, over aggressive parents.
